Many years ago...

... I was quite fanatical about my daily weight training routine. Then i got rid of all my equipment and havn`t done any for years now.

There is a vegan powerlifter in the Midlands, a world champion in fact!! Pat Reeves. She gave a talk at our meeting recently. An amazing woman. She`s had cancer for many years, and has basically fought it off with her strict `living food` vegan diet. She`s a nutritional therapist. Take a look at her website http://www.foodalive.org/

I lift weights quite consistently, I am new here, this is my first post, hi. Love trees definately, when they are not poking me in the eye, but for the good they do, I will do anything to increase having more trees.. Anyway thats a hi to you Child of the Trees.

And just to reiterate, yes, I am very much the man of fitness, by various means. But weights tend to do it for me, in the main, over & above most other activities. It all depends on what you feel comfortable and confident and good about in yielding the best results for yourself and your life as a whole as to which physical activity you rever the most and take part in the most, etc. :)

I'm an aspiring power lifter. Anyone in Shrewsbury fancy starting a lifting crew?
